I have Frankensteined together these booze bottles myself, and have no experience whatsoever with balance. And allowing for multiple uses made it okay to have the act of testing the liqueur being the means to figure out what it does. It worked quite neatly, and I think it made sense as well: you usually wouldn't drink an entire bottle of booze in one go (as you would with a potion). The players absolutely enjoyed this (totally made up) mechanic of having to try the spirits in order to figure out what they do. They would then tick off one of the little boxes (next to item rarity) to signify how much of a given booze bottle was left. By taking a sip, an effect would kick in and the player drinking would be allowed to unfold and reveal the text. I had cut out all the pictures and their corresponding descriptions and folded away the name and properties underneath the picture. I then presented them with a whole bunch of printed cutouts of fancy bottles (and a few items). And clearly there had to be some magical drinks there! A feat that, without the spell, would've taken many many drunken hours to complete. But through using the spell "Detect Magic", the cleric swiftly identified any bottles with magical effects (if imbibed by a mere material-plane-person). By reading some labels (in elvish) they realized it was probably mostly alcohol. I told the party, as they started to take sips from random bottles, that there were literally thousands of hyper-extravagant bottles in there.

What loot is in there? I had about a week to figure it out between sessions, and this is what I came up with: So my players snuck inside Svarku's Booze Vault by snorting crystal and passing through the Vault door. The OSR-ones are the work of David Schirduan. However, this bestiary is totally intended to be used in tandem with the GM-Book, not override it! I always use the source material text and pictures to describe what is encountered, and then I look at my pictures for further inspiration as to what the environment is like, what the general feel of the encounter could encompass, what enemy is wearing, what the colors might be, how they may behave or fight, and so and so forth.

This is according to my own taste and I am doing things quite over-the-top high fantasy crazy. I have taken huge liberties when interpreting the books, and I am sure the aesthetics differ a lot from what many people prefer. Keep in mind that I only made this for myself, my campaign and the particular feeling I am going for. (Also, I obviously don't ever do anything printer friendly, apologies to printers out there!) I also added A LOT of inspirational pictures of potential habitats, cultural stuff, color schemes and other things I felt could be useful to have in mind when encountering the different beasts or factions. If available, I added multiple versions of the same beast and when playing I pick the one I feel like using, or sometimes I even mix them up. I have been using this alongside the Dark of Hot Springs Island. I did make a "Hot Springs Island Bestiary" with absolutely everything 5e I could find on the Internet about HSI.
